Drawing Fashion and Textiles at the V&A.

Learn to draw fashion and textiles from the world class collection of the V&A.

This course will introduce you to techniques and tricks for a combination of fashion illustration and the representation of fabric and textiles. 

Using a variety of high quality drawing materials and both group and individual tuition you will be shown how to accurately and dynamically depict garments and fabric. 

You will learn

-Tricks to help with scale and proportion.

-Different techniques for representing different weights of fabric.

-Techniques for depicting drape and embellishment.

As usual the day will start at 10.15 inside the Gallery and finish at 5.15. There is a break for lunch from 1.15 to 2.15.
